Parx Casino has taken a significant step into the hospitality industry with the acquisition of The Inn at Fox Chase. Greenwood Racing Inc., the parent company of Parx Casino, revealed this strategic move on Monday, marking the beginning of an extensive renovation project for the 167-room hotel located at 3327 Street Rd in Bensalem Township, PA.
The renovation plan, slated to unfold over the next 6 to 12 months, aims to modernize the six-story hotel, originally built in 1988. Key features such as the outdoor pool, fitness center, and the 2,000+ square feet of meeting space will receive significant upgrades. Additionally, the top floor of the hotel will be transformed into 16 brand-new suites, offering a luxurious stay for guests.
During this period, the hotel will remain operational, ensuring that guests can continue to enjoy the hospitality and services they have come to expect from The Inn at Fox Chase. All existing reservations and group bookings will be honored, providing uninterrupted service throughout the renovation process.
The renovation will not only focus on the aesthetic and functional aspects of the hotel but will also improve the public areas and guest rooms. These updates will enhance the overall guest experience, aligning with Parx Casino’s commitment to excellence. Once the renovations are complete, the hotel will be rebranded, reflecting its new and improved state.
